At-home lymphatic drainage, GLOV massage ritual from feet to face

Besides blood, another fluid circulates in you: lymph. It collects excess water from the tissues, along with everything the body no longer needs, and carries it away. A kind of body drainage system.

There is one catch. Blood has the heart, which pumps it. Lymph has nothing like that. It moves only when the muscles work or when you press the skin from the outside. Sitting all day? Lymph stands still. That is why your face is puffy in the morning and your legs feel heavy in the evening.

In the clinic, a physiotherapist does it for you, and it is called lymphatic drainage. At home, all you need is a brush, a glove, and ten minutes.

One rule that applies at every step: move toward the heart. Not because it looks nicer. Lymph flows that way, to the nodes under the armpits and in the groin, where it is filtered. Massaging in the other direction pushes it against the current.

1Krok 1 z 4

Wake up your lymph before you step into the shower

You start dry, before getting into the shower. Your skin and brush must be dry; otherwise, the bristles slide instead of pressing in.

Work from the ankles upward: to the knees, then onto the thighs, the stomach, and finally the décolletage. Always in that direction, never back. It takes three or four minutes for the whole body. Your skin will feel warm and slightly pink. That means the blood is flowing and you are doing it right.

Two brushes, choose one:

Classic GLOV brush has stiffer bristles. It exfoliates more strongly and relaxes the legs after a full day on your feet. As a bonus, fewer hairs grow back after shaving. Choose it if you want this to be an evening ritual for relaxation.
Ionic ionizing brush has copper fibers that release an electric charge when rubbed against the skin. In practice, you massage more gently, while the skin responds more strongly: it firms up faster. Choose it if the effect is your main priority. Do not massage for longer than 10 minutes, and use a lighter touch on the stomach and bust.

In the shower, focus on your thighs and buttocks

Now you’re already in the shower. The bamboo fiber mitt does two things at once. It exfoliates dead skin cells, making your skin feel smoother right away. And it stimulates circulation just beneath the surface, exactly where lymph tends to stagnate: on the thighs and buttocks.

Use circular motions, while wet, with or without gel. Move toward the heart.

What the study showed:

69% of the women surveyed confirmed that the product helps reduce cellulite
66% improvement in skin elasticity after three weeks
29% less visible cellulite after three weeks

3-in-1 Silicone Scrubber and Massager for Body, Scalp, and Back BUBBLE BURST

3Krok 3 z 4

Wash and massage where your hand can’t reach

A regular sponge washes, but it doesn’t massage. Silicone nubs do both at once: they lather the gel and simultaneously press into the skin, pushing lymph along.

The second reason to choose silicone instead of a sponge: it doesn’t absorb water, so there’s nowhere for bacteria to grow. Rinse it after use and set it aside. It dries in a quarter of an hour.

Three versions. They differ in how far you can reach:

BUBBLE BURST has finger holes and space for a wooden stick. The only one with which you can wash and massage your back without bending over. Body, scalp, back.
SHOWER CHAMELEON switches from washing to massage with one click; the other side pops out on its own. Fits in a cosmetic bag. Body and scalp.
BUBBLE MATE is a pad in the form of a glove, shaped to fit the hand. It focuses on firming the thighs, arms, and belly. For the body, not for the head.

Nowoczesny Gua Sha Face Trainer Massager GLOV

4Krok 4 z 4

Reduce facial swelling

Rano twarz puchnie z tego samego powodu, z którego wieczorem puchną nogi. Leżałaś osiem godzin, limfa stała w miejscu i woda została w tkankach.

Zimno obkurcza naczynia i szybciej ściąga opuchliznę.

Po czym poznasz, że zadziałało:

Mniej cieni i podpuchnięcia pod oczami
Wyraźniejsza linia żuchwy
Twarz wygląda na wypoczętą, nawet jeśli spałaś krótko
