Washing your hair using the OMO method is a hit among hair maniacs and an effective way to achieve healthy, smooth and shiny hair. What is it and why is it so popular among hair junkies ? We explain!
OMO - Nutrition, Washing, Nutrition
This is exactly what this mysterious abbreviation sounds like. The OMO method indicates the order in which cosmetics should be applied during washing and - as you can see - it differs from standard hair care, i.e. shampoo + conditioner.
OMO step by step method:
Gently dampen your hair and scalp. Apply the first conditioner to the entire length of your hair, except for the scalp. The first one to work is a conditioner that moisturizes your hair, i.e. a humectant, although in reality this is an individual matter. Leave it on for a few minutes.
Then, without rinsing the first conditioner, apply shampoo to the hair at the roots and wash the scalp thoroughly. For the sake of the environment, we recommend using shampoo bars! Rinse everything off. Let the cosmetic gently flow down the entire length of the hair. This will gently cleanse the hair without the need to rub it.
After rinsing out the shampoo and first conditioner, apply a second, different conditioner (e.g. emollient). Wait a few minutes and rinse with lukewarm or cold water. The second conditioner is intended to close the OMO washing ritual by deeply nourishing, regenerating and applying a protective layer against external factors.
That's it! It wasn't that hard, was it? Washing your hair with the OMO method is a matter of getting used to it and in reality it's not as time-consuming as it seems. It's worth spending 2 minutes more on washing your hair this way, because the OMO method is an uncomplicated way to strong, thick and regenerated locks - and this is confirmed by the positive opinions of many hair maniacs. Double nutrition does the trick!
IMPORTANT: It should be noted that the cosmetics chosen for this care cannot be a coincidence. To have healthy and shiny hair, in the OMO method you need to focus on cosmetics that take care of the PEH balance, which you can read about in this article . OMO and PEH are two abbreviations that complement each other perfectly!
