How to pack a cosmetics bag for vacation?

A successful vacation is one during which you can regenerate, take care of yourself and spend your free time comfortably. Without your favorite cosmetics, this will be difficult. That is why it is worth taking care of skillfully placing the necessary products and accessories in your luggage. Packing a cosmetic bag is never easy, especially when we are subject to luggage limits. We have prepared a few tips for you that will help you cope with this challenge.

This won't fit in the bag!

On flights within Europe and intercontinental, in Economy Class you can place checked (basic) baggage with dimensions of length + width + height - max. 158 cm and max. 23 kg. Additionally, you can take hand luggage measuring max. 55 x 35 x 25 cm (sizes may vary slightly depending on the requirements of specific airlines). Considering that you have to fit clothes, accessories - a hat, glasses, a favorite book, maybe a laptop, sometimes for a two-week vacation, there is little space left for cosmetics. Therefore, carefully plan in advance which ones to take and how to pack them. In the main luggage you can carry cosmetics of any capacity, but in hand luggage you must secure them and place them in containers of up to 100 ml, which should also be in a transparent bag. Before leaving, stock up on a set of bottles and jars in which you can place your favorite cosmetic, e.g. the Glov hair mask with biomimetic keratin, which evens out damage that may occur in hair due to exposure to the sun.

Packing cosmetics too hastily or carelessly can be a surefire path to disaster – eye shadows or powder will crumble on clothes, dirtying them, and perfumes will leak from containers, giving the entire luggage an intense aroma. To avoid this, make a list of necessary things well in advance and pack the day before departure, do not leave it until just before leaving. Use our tips that can make the task easier.

1. Buy travel containers for cosmetics – pour the products you need into them, labeling each container, e.g. directly on it with a permanent marker, or on a note taped to the container.
2. Protect razors, scissors or files with bubble wrap, wrapping them several times. Remember that they cannot be included in your hand luggage during the flight.
