1. How often should the glove be replaced?
The recommended period of use is 3 months, due to the product's natural “wear and tear” process. This applies during regular use of the GLOV glove, regardless of whether it is used more for makeup removal or for facial cleansing. Of course, if the glove still removes makeup well and remains gentle enough for the skin, it can be used longer.
2. What material is the glove made of?
The glove composition may seem misleading at first glance. When checking the descriptions, you will see that the gloves and pads are made of 80% polyester and 20% polyamide, of course fully safe for the skin and dermatologically tested. What matters is not the type of fiber itself, but its shape. GLOV fibers have star-shaped ends and are 30 times thinner than cotton fibers and as much as 100 times thinner than human hair. When wet, they draw makeup particles deep inside, literally acting like a magnet without smudging anything on the skin.
3. How should the glove be cleaned and dried?
The gloves should not be machine washed. It is best to clean them by hand with regular gray bar soap or with our special Magnet Cleanser soap. After use, hang to dry. Do not dry on radiators or in tumble dryers.
4. What should I do with the glove once it wears out?
We encourage you to give it a second life instead of throwing it away. Once worn out, the gloves are perfect for cleaning, for example. You can use them to dust, clean shoes, or wash windows! We have also found a solution to make full use of worn products and give them a completely new purpose - a third life. Send the used product back to us or drop it into a special container at any Sephora perfumery, and it will be sent for material recycling. This will turn it into a completely new product - a garden or park bench, planter, street lamp, garden table, etc.
5. Can the glove be used just for cleansing the face?
The glove can of course be used just for cleansing the face, even when there is no makeup on it. We encourage you to wash your face with the glove in the morning after waking up. It is great at removing excess sebum built up during sleep and stimulating facial circulation.
