SILICONE WASHERS WITH SHORT, SMALL BRISTLES THAT ENTER INSIDE THE PORES
WHAT IT'S MADE OF: Colored silicone. It's not e lectronic. It's waterproof, durable , and cheap . ADVANTAGES: The advantage of these manual washers is the precision with which they clean the pores of the skin. Although they cannot be used alone , you should always use a make - up remover , e.g. milk or gel , and only after applying the cosmetic to the washcloth , massage the previously dampened skin . Daily make-up removal or washing the skin with this brush is a simultaneous massage , it will strengthen the skin and thicken it , which will help hide blood vessels . It has a peeling effect . DISADVANTAGES: The brush is not suitable for skin with acne lesions , because it could irritate the skin and spread bacteria all over the face . The brush will not work for sensitive skin . Even normal skin can become tender and irritated after a few days of use , to the point that using the washcloth becomes impossible . To maintain hygiene rules , it would be a good idea to wash it with disinfectant before next use .Source: https://www.rossmann.pl/Produkt/Akcesoria/For-Your-Beauty-silikonowa-myjka-do-twarzy-1-szt,233208,8766
POD
WHAT IT'S MADE OF : A cocoon is really a cocoon, there 's no metaphor here ;) It consists of amino acids : fibroin and sericin . Fibroin strongly moisturizes the skin and smoothes it , it is also an ingredient in many moisturizing face and neck masks . Sericin is referred to as liquid silk . In the cocoon, it acts as a glue for the silk threads that wrap around the caterpillar , which is supposed to transform into a moth . It is used as a smoothing ingredient in creams , masks and hair cosmetics . ADVANTAGES: Suitable for use by people with very sensitive and irritation- prone skin . Cocoons moisturize , smooth , gently exfoliate and leave a pleasant , non-greasy film on the skin , so you don't have to use a night cream after them . They are natural and do not contain additional chemicals. Thanks to the ingredients they are made of , they accelerate skin regeneration and fight acne discoloration . DISADVANTAGES: No kidding – this is not a solution for vegans . Silkworms are moths , and cocoons are built by caterpillars in order to pupate . So it is eco - friendly care , but not entirely cruelty- free ! Another disadvantage may be the price, one cocoon costs from a few dozen groszy to a złoty . In theory, it can be used several times , but in practice we advise against it, just like washing your face with the same cotton pad . Before use , the cocoon must be soaked in warm water for about 10 minutes, so it is not an express option . And one last thing – the cocoon is not for removing make-up ! Before using it as a face wash , you have to wash off your make-up , moisten your face with the water in which the cocoon was soaked , put it on your finger and massage your face , rinse it again with the water used for soaking and only now are you ready . So it's a kind of extra wash , perhaps more of a beauty ritual than something you have the time and strength to do every day .Source: https://orphica.pl/blog/kokony-jedwabnika.html
MUSLIN CLOTH
WHAT IT'S MADE OF: Muslin is the name for a loosely weaved fabric , usually cotton , silk , or wool . When it comes to care, we're mainly interested in cotton muslin . ADVANTAGES: It works great for contaminated skin, with clogged pores or excessively calloused epidermis. It is universal - it works well with make-up removal creams, pastes, powders , gels, and milks , easily reaches the skin creases (e.g. the wings of the nose), removes dry skin, removes masks and eliminates the need to use cosmetic pads. This care assistant is reusable, and the price is relatively low, the cheapest cloths can be found on Allegro for even about PLN 5. You usually have to test several brands to choose the right weave for yourself, some may be too irritating, others too delicate. However, when you find your ideal, you have a chance for smooth and radiant skin. DISADVANTAGES: As with mechanical peelings, you cannot use a muslin cloth on skin with skin lesions, because it will only spread bacteria around the face. It is not suitable for people with shallowly vascularized skin. Requires the use of additional cosmetics.Source: https://drogeriapigment.pl/twarz/14614-mohani-muslinowa-sciereczka-do-mycia-twarzy-5902802720412.html
